Paris – je t’aime

Hallo meine Lieben, wie ihr vielleicht schon auf Instagram gesehen habt war ich in Paris. Paris – die Stadt mit den wohl süßesten  Cafés (ja, noch „süßer“ als die italienischen) und den besten Backwaren überhaupt, wie den Macarons, Croissants und außerdem der schönsten Architektur. Die Stadt der Liebe – der romantischste Ort der Welt – gehört ab jetzt definic zu einer meiner Lieblingsstädte in Europa oder überhaupt.

Ich habe euch einaml meine besten Tipps zusammengefasst:

• kauft Tagestickets für die Metro (die kosten etwa 9 € und wenn man unter 26 ist sogar nur 4 €)  
• probiert mindestens ein französische Baguette und einen Croissant
  
• lernt ein paar französische Worte – viele Pariser können kein Englisch – ein freundliches  Bonjour und ein au revoir kommen immer gut
  
• wer mit dem Auto aus Deutschland kommt, muss rund 30 € Mautgebühr bezahlen

• Am Eiffelturm: macht ein Picknick beim Sonnenuntergang im Park

• Am Louvre: wer sich sein Ticket nicht online kauft, sollte den Eingang bei der U-Bahn nehmen, an der Pyramide

• Bei Notre-Dame: man muss mindestens einmal kurz einen Blick hineinwerfen, man muss nicht lange warten, um hinein zu kommen; macht eine Bootstour bei Nacht, dann hat man den schönsten Blick mit herrlichen Lichter von der Seine aus

• Auf der Champs-Élysees: alle Restaurants und Bars sind hier wirklich überteuert; Um das wahre Gefühl von Paris zu bekommen, müssen Sie „aux champs élysees“ beim Gehen hören

• Am Triumpfbogen: von dort hat man den schönsten Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang – beeindruckend; Achtung am Kreisverkehr um den Bogen, er istberüchtigt für Unfälle; am spektakulärsten ist er aus der Mitte der Straße – versucht von dort ein Foto von zu schießen
  

Eiffel Tower

Der Eiffelturm ist wohl einer der am meisten fotografierten Szenen in Paris, und ist für die Stadt wie der Big Ben für London, das Kolosseum für Rom oder die Freiheitsstatue für New York. Man kann über 1.700 Schritte auf die dritte Etage gelangen oder den Aufzug nach oben (304 Meter) nehmen. Am schönsten ist der Eiffelturm wohl bei Nacht, wenn die 20.000 Lichter ihre fünfminütige Lichtshow starten und tanzen wie kleine Sterne – atemberaubend und definitiv ein Muss! Die Lichtershow gibt es seit 2003 jeden Tag um 0 bis 1 Uhr. Ursprünglich waren sie dort installiert worden, um das Jahrtausend zu feiern, aber die Show war so beliebt, dass das Licht dauerhaft installiert blieben.

The Louvre

Ich bin ein riesengroßer Kunstliebhaber, besuche normalerweiße bei jedem Städtetrip ein Kunstmuseum und liebe es auch selbst zu malen – also musste ich auf jeden Fall zum Louvre, denn es ist das weltgrößte Kunstmuseum. Die drei beliebtesten Kunstwerke im Inneren sind natürlich die Mona Lisa, die Venus von Milo und Winged Victory.

Notre-Dame

Es war eine der ersten gotischen Kathedralen in Europa und der Ort, an dem Napoléon gekrönt wurde, außerdem fanden dort vor dem Altar viele Hochzeiten von Königen und Königinnen statt. Von innen ist sie eigentlich nichts besonderes, aber wer schon mal hier ist sollte unbedingt einen Blick hinein werfen (ist auch kostenlos).

Champs-Élysees

Champs-Élysees ist in Paris das gleich wie der Time Square in New York oder dem Picadilly Circus in London. Es ist ein Treffpunkt für alle Reisenden, aber auch für die Einheimischen – hier findet man für Jedermann etwas, von Chanel bis McDonald’s.

Mein persönliches must do war, mindestens einen Maccaron bei Laudree zu essen. Laudree liegt ziemlich am Ende der Champs-Élysees, in der Nähe des Triumpfbogens und wenn ihr dort etwas kaufen wollt steht ihr erst einmal eine gefühlte halbe Ewigkeit. Bei mir wurden es nur fünf Maccarons, da sie – wie wohl zu erwarten – einfach unglaublich teuer sind, aber dafür schmecken sie auch richtig gut.

Arc de Triomphe

Der 49-Meter-Bogen ist Napoléons Denkmal und von ihm selbst erbaut worden. Das „Erklimmen“ der 284 Stufen bis an die Spitze des Arc de Triomphe zahlt sich aus, den wie ich bereits erwähnt habe hat man vorn dort den besten Ausblick – vor Allem auf den Sonnenuntergang.

Hey lovelies, when you talk about cutest cafes (yes, the cafes are even more fascinating then the italian ones) with the best bakery things like the macarons and the most beautiful architechture, you talk about Paris – one of my favourite cities in Europe or even on earth. And not to forget it’s the city of love – the most romantic place on earth.

Tips to get the most out of you Paris trip:

• buy day tickets for the metro to get around (they cost around 9€ and when you are under 26 just 4€)
• try at least one french baguette and a crosaint
• learn a few key French words – the Parisians don’t know a lot of English words; offer always a hearty bonjour and an au revoir
• when you get there from Germany by car you have to pay around 30€ toll one way
• at the Eiffel Tower: take food and have a picnic during the sunset at the park
• at the Louvre: if you didn’t buy you ticket online take the entrance  in the underground and avoide the one at the pyramide
• at Notre-Dame: have a short look inside it’s free and you don’t have to wait long to get in; take a boat tour at night time you have the best view with magnificent lights from the Seine
• at Champs-Élysees: all restaurants and bars here are really overpriced; to get the true feeling of Paris you need to listen „aux champs élysees“ while walking
• at Arc de Triomphe: you have the sunset from there – it’s impressiv; take care of yourself at the traffic circle around the arch it’s infamous for accidents; it’s most spectacular from the middle of the road – try to get a photo from there

Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is as one of the most photographed landscapes to Paris what the Big Ben is to London, the Coloseum is to Rome or the Statue of Liberty is to New York – their civic monument. You can go up 1.700 steps to the third flor or take the the elevator to the top (304 meters) – there is just a better view from the Tour Montparnasse skyscraper.

The most breathtaking moment has the Tower at night when the 20.000 lights start their five minutes light show and dance like shooting stars – definitely a must see! They do their dance since 2003 every day on the hour until 1am. Orginally they where installed to celebrate the millennium and the show was so popular that the light were installed permanetly.

The Louvre

I’m an artlover and love to paint – it’s my passion, what meant to me I have to go there. It’s the world greatest art museum and the largest. The three most popular art pieces inside are of course the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and Winged Victory.

Notre-Dame

It was one of the first gothic cathedral in Europe and the place where Napoléon was crowned and kings and queens exchanged marriage vows before is altar.

Champs-Élysees

Champs-Élysees is to Paris the same as the Time Square to New York or the Picadilly Circus to London. It’s a meeting point for all travelers and also for the locals – here you can find something for everyone, from Chanel to McDonald’s.

My personal must do was to eat at least one macaron at Laudree, it’s close to the Arc de Triomphe at the end of the Champs-Élysees.

Arc de Triomphe

The 49 meter arch is Napoléons monument and ordered by himself. Climbing the 284 stairs to the top of the Arc de Triomphe pays off.
